The Latest in CD Rom, Internet and Video ArtA lecture series
presented by German Media Art Curator - Inke Arns.
Inke Arns is an independent Media Art Curator and a PhD candidate at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany.
She is in Auckland for two days to present a programme and give a discussion on the lively media art scene in Germany.
The programme will appeal to artists, film or video makers, those involved in the electronic field - be it music or video - or any one interested in the European art scene. Her lectures will be of particular interest to those who are looking at having their works exhibited in Germany or who are interested in finding out about European festivals, competitions and residencies.
The programme will be presented at the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium, Cnr Wellesley St and Kitchener St, Auckland. Thurs 28th and Fri 29th September at 7pm. Door charge $5.

The first lecture will be the presentation of ‘Media Art Interaction’ - the latest in CD Rom, Internet and Video Art from Germany as selected by Rudolf Freiling and Inke Arns of ZKM (Centre for Media and Art Technology)
Friday September 29 7pm
The second lecture will be an overview of the European media arts scene,including key artists, festivals, competitions and residencies.
