Experience the NZ premiere of SURFACE - live sonic cinema from London-based AV pioneers D-Fuse. Take a high-tech trip through the high-res horizons of China, Asia and the UK. This multi-screen, multi-sensory performance is inspired by the sights+sounds of our rapidly-changing urban landscapes. Follow the trail of human impact and find moments of still, slack-jawed beauty between the gutters and the skies. New content from each city D-Fuse visit during RE-IMAGINING THE CITY will be cut into SURFACE - look out for local scenes on-screen.
D-Fuse have played/exhibited at Sonar (Barcelona), The V&A Museum (London), Mori Arts Centre (Tokyo), Life Hub (Shanghai), and have collaborated with musicians as Beck, Scanner, Swayzak and Alter Ego.
$20 door sales from 8pm/$15 for all design, architecture and moving image students (show ID).
