Leading Australian artists are featured in the second stage of the Points of Entry Exhibition at MIC. These works present digital technolgy in new and challenging forms. Featuring sculptures and video installation, by Sophea Lerner, Greg Bourke, Leigh Hobba and Andrew Burrell
A highlight is Machines for Time, a series of three dimensional models by Greg Bourke that are fictional prototypes for high-speed transport. One model is a fully articulated machine that moves at a rate of 1 cm a year, contrasting dramatically with its streamlined design.
