IN CONJUNCTION WITH A LIVE PERFORMANCE BY TIMOTEIC AND QUAZUZU PRESENTING ABSTRACT ELECTRONIC SOUND AND UNDERGROUND MOSKOW AND HELSINKI WORK.
An interactive kinaesthetic experience not to be missed!
Mark Pulsford, working with sound, video and natural elements presents his work in two areas of the MIC gallery.
‘Oil, water, mud’ and ‘rain’ are installations that explore internal and external projections and perceptions we have about ourselves, and our surroundings.
They also explore the potential of interactive video installations to communicate subtleties in relationships, engage the viewer by suspending disbelief and by heightening a sensory experience of place.
Mark Pulsford is a lecturer in Art and Design at AUT. His work includes film, theatre and costume design, performance, video installation, painting and conceptual works.
